Our Mission
Example Rescue is a foster-based dog rescue serving Riverside County, CA and nearby areas. We pull dogs from local shelters and accept limited owner surrenders when we have the capacity. Our goal is simple: help dogs find safe, loving homes.

What Does "Foster-Based" Mean?
Unlike traditional shelters with a physical facility, we rely on a network of caring volunteers who open their homes to dogs in need. Each dog in our care lives with a foster family until they're adopted. This approach helps dogs decompress in a home environment, learn house manners, and show their true personalities—making for better matches with forever families.
Our fosters provide daily care, love, and socialization while we cover veterinary costs, food, and supplies. It's a team effort, and we couldn't do it without our amazing foster families.
